There are moments in life that mark you forever. For me, one of those moments came about fifteen months ago. I received a call I'll never forget. On the other end of the phone was V., a friend who is like a sister to me. She was crying uncontrollably. She could barely speak through her sobs, but the message broke my heart: someone had broken into her XRP wallet and taken everything. More than 11,000 XRP. All her savings, everything she had worked so hard to gather, gone in an instant.
